A HELL OF HEAVEN
By Kevin Hoyer

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Horror
LOGLINE:

After escaping their rapacious master, a young woman leads two broken survivors through the wilderness, only to discover that their greatest threat isn’t behind them, but buried deep within. As paranoia festers and old wounds resurface, she must confront the hunter on their trail and the darkness awakening inside her.

SYNOPSIS:

In rural 1980s America, a quiet house in the woods hides a monstrous secret. Beneath it, a methodical and unassuming man has constructed a private bunker where stolen girls are stripped of their names, pasts, and autonomy. Through strict routine, psychological manipulation, and fear, obedience is enforced.

Cracks begin to form when one captive — guarded yet fiercely resilient — pushes back. When the girls finally break free, survival does not come easily. Guilt, mistrust, and fractured identities threaten to tear them apart from within. Their escape carries severe consequences yet sparks something dangerous and irreversible: defiance.

The young women must confront both the external threat pursuing them and the darkness emerging inside. Their fight becomes not just about escape, but about reclaiming who they are and deciding what they are willing to become to stay free.
