I love this. What are the exact stakes here? Are they just on sea the entire time and arrive in Vinland at the very end? Or do they arrive at the end of episode one and we see them struggle in Canada?
Thanks for the rating, Phil Leasure! I originally wrote this as a feature. The script was built around three separate expeditions, culled from the two Icelandic sagas dealing with Leif Erikson and his family and their "discovery" of North America. Episodes 2 and 3 revolve around the other two expeditions, with each visit getting progressively worse in terms of the outcomes. I was only going to post Episode 1, but now I'm thinking I should go ahead and post the other two as well. :-)
