After her mother poisons their only water source in a fit of paranoia, Cleo must trek through an indigenous reservation to reach a lake that her mother believes will save them.
SYNOPSIS:
Cleo has spent her entire life living in a small house fifteen miles from civilization on either side. With no electricity, no running water, and certainly no friends, Cleo and her mother, Dana, are perfectly content living in peace on their own. But one day Dana overhears a radio broadcast about the dangers of acid rain, and she starts to believe that she and Cleo are in grave danger. Without a second thought, Dana sends Cleo toward an indigenous reservation with nothing but half a tank of gas and two barrels for water. Knowing nothing of the outside world, Cleo is certain that this healing water source, The Infinite Blue, will save them, and she will be able to return home with ease.
Then Cleo meets Nez, a charismatic indigenous girl who cares more about Rock'n'Roll than any differences that stand between them. As Nez and Cleo make their journey to the Infinite Blue, outsiders threaten to end their mission before it even begins, but Cleo and Nez are persistent if not bold, and nothing can get in the way of their goal; especially when a simple trip turns into a life or death odyssey for Cleo to save her mom.
Intriguing.
