SYNOPSIS:
Cloning was successful beyond our highest hopes, so much so that we created a whole race of servants and organ donors. But they were also human so the clones rebelled. The clones lost the war and all cloning was banned. Existing clones must be in the custody of a naturally born human and are not permitted to marry or have children. Years later, former cloning scientist Janet Marshall turns her talents to reversing the aging process. When Janet, a single mother of three cloned children, is murdered, her eldest daughter Anne, a perfect clone of Janet, must assume her mother's identity to keep the family of clones safe from both the government and a cruelly oppressive society. Self Defense is the story of the Marshall family's survival.
