When four estranged siblings return home to visit their ailing mother, they try to get to the mystery of her growing mental illness, only to discover something sinister is transforming her from within and so must battle not only to save her but survive the ravenous thing she is becoming.
There are no "adult children"-- their are, however, adult siblings.
"they realize she has changed so much" is superfluous subtext. Is this a movie about watching people realize something? Or do they come to discover this thing through a series of events?
"They soon discover that she isn't..." Isn't what?
It's obvious what you're trying to say, but you could say it more coherently. I'm looking at five commas here.
Be more succinct and get this down to one sentence.
And don't put "Logline added by" the author. Screenwriters ALL write thier own loglines. Services that write logs for you are a scam. "Logline added by" is a big sign that says, "I don't know what I'm doing."
