SYNOPSIS:

Chatsworth is a bucolic suburb in the San Fernando Valley north of LA. It was at one time a favorite movie location for westerns. Hopalong Cassidy, Gene Autry and Roy Rogers all made movies in Chatsworth. They make a different kind of movie in Chatsworth now. Chatsworth is the capital of the American adult entertainment industry. As a filmed half hour weekly series for cable, our Chatsworth will focus on the two cultures living side by side in this sleepy bedroom community: those who perform or otherwise make their livings in porn, and those who do not. Not only are those people who make their livings in porn now living side by side with real estate agents, local merchants, soccer moms and PTA members, because a life in adult entertainment can’t last forever, many of them when they retire become real estate agents, local merchants, soccer moms and PTA members. Chatsworth is about love, shame, jealousy, fidelity, trust, intimacy, envy, our public vs. our private selves, and our complicity in the growth of a thirteen billion dollar industry in this country no one will admit contributing a dime to. And just for fun, our porn actors will be portrayed by real porn actors.
