A man falls in love with a woman via text messaging - only to find out that she died two years earlier. And now her murderer is after him.

Recent Navy vet and satellite communications specialist JAKE EMERY receives an out-of-the-blue urgent text message asking for help. The sender, ANGELA DEARDEN, seeks someone to help her out of an abusive relationship with her fiance, MIKE KODA.

Through text messages, Jake provides comfort and advice to Angela. Curiosity gets the best of them and they decide to meet face-to-face. They both show up for their rendezvous at the same place, but can't find one another. They find out that they are talking to one another two years apart, via a scientific phenomenon called super-luminosity. But worse, the jealous Koda has followed Angela and has read her intimate texts with Jake.

In his attempts to locate her in the future, Jake discovers that Angela died suspiciously and that Koda was a suspect. Knowing that Angela is just days away from her death, Jake desperately tries to warn her. Will he reach her in time?
