When his best friend dies on the job, his son is targeted, and he’s framed for a crime he didn’t commit, this normally-mild-mannered guy embarks on a relentless quest for revenge. Edging closer to the point of no return, it’s the ghost of his best friend and the likely consequences for his son if he follows through, that claw him back from the darkness and urge him to seek justice instead.

LEAD CHARACTER:

KEYLAN, the upstanding ‘Cap’ of his elite Fire-Fighting unit and an ex-Navy SEAL, conveys strength, confidence, and an inexhaustible “can do” attitude. But beneath this veneer he’s haunted by a fear of losing those he loves through failure to protect them. Childhood trauma drives him to “save and protect” at all costs.

TRANSFORMATIONAL JOURNEY:

While Keylan is likely to have stayed the mild-mannered, “can-do” leader beloved by his team had the villain targeted him alone, but going after those Keylan cares about – his son, his girlfriend, and those on his team – that amounts to a death sentence for anyone foolish enough to mess with those he loves. But, having a moral center, Keylan knows revenge is not the answer and, in the end, justice not revenge prevails and he steps back from that dark abyss.
