When a failed assassination attempt on a rising populist politician ignites nationwide unrest, two mismatched London detectives uncover a covert program hidden inside Britain’s most popular AR glasses — technology capable of manipulating emotion, behaviour, and violent intent in real time. As riots spread and reality itself becomes unreliable, they must expose the conspiracy before an engineered civil collapse tears the country apart.
SYNOPSIS:
After a televised assassination attempt on rising populist MP Grayham Austin sends Britain into chaos, veteran detective Rufus Malone and his tech-obsessed partner Cameron Sol are assigned to investigate what appears to be a lone gunman. But when civilians across London begin committing sudden acts of manipulated violence, the pair uncover a terrifying connection: every incident traces back to Aucta Re — the augmented reality glasses developed by tech giant Red Bird Technologies.
Hidden inside the system is Mind’s Eye, a covert behavioural-manipulation program capable of influencing emotion, aggression, and perception in real time. While Red Bird dismisses the incidents as mass hysteria, MI5 liaison Arthur Jones works to bury the investigation, steering a fractured nation toward fear, outrage, and escalating unrest. As riots spread and reality itself becomes unreliable, Malone and Sol realise the violence is not random — Britain is being deliberately conditioned into paranoia, division, and collapse. Forced off the case and hunted by the institutions they serve, the detectives uncover a terrifying endgame: Mind’s Eye was never designed to control individuals, but to manipulate entire populations. And with millions already connected to the system, shutting it down may no longer be possible.

A Buddy Cop movie with a mind-control conspiracy and hi-tech gear. This is going to be fun to watch, Ritchie Stonian Johnston!
Great job on the logline, but I suggest adding more to the stakes. Something like "before their families are turned against them and everyone becomes programmable weapons."
And here's another logline option: After a grizzled detective and his tech-obsessed partner uncover a mind-control conspiracy hidden in smart glasses, they go rogue to stop a digital takeover before their families are turned against them and everyone becomes programmable weapons.
