5 STAR RESORT
By Phil Savage

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense
LOGLINE:

A family vacation at a tropical resort turns into a fight for survival for 248 innocent tourists who are being held captive for ransom by 50 well armed terrorists.

SYNOPSIS:

248 innocent people are being held hostage at a 5 Star resort in the small tropical island nation of Tuilapo.

50 well armed terrorists will execute one hostage at random every 24 hours if the 250 million dollar ransom is not paid. If there are any signs of rescue, the terrorists will blow up the entire resort along with everyone in it.

Every guest, whether they are man, woman or child, has a number from 1 to 248 written on their wristband. If their number is chosen, they will be the next to be eliminated, so the clock is literally ticking.

We follow 2 families and 4 couples as they try to deal with the incredible stress they endure every hour of every day knowing at noon one of their numbers could be the next to be chosen.

Just as some of the male hostages try to band together to plan an attack, a very unlikely hero emerges in the form of a five foot tall 12 year old girl.
