MIND MASTERS

LOGLINE:

In 2035, a disgraced cop joins with a con artist and a hooker to fight a corporation that markets clean consciences by mind-stamping crime memories from its clients into some poor sucker's brain, but the cop soon discovers an implanted memory in his own head has made him the prime suspect in a murder.

SYNOPSIS:

This Science Fiction script, Mind Masters, received a recommend on coverage from Barb Doyon at Extreme Screenwriting.

Sal remembers murdering the bastard who took his wife, but is it really his memory or someone else's implanted memory?

It's 2035.Technology can buy a clean conscience.Absolutio Corporation can banish guilt from the rich by implanting their guilty memories into the minds of the poor, who accept those memories as their own for a fee.No guilty memories equals no guilt.Right?

However, what about the other side of the equation?Does belief in the implanted guilty memories mean guilt?In fact, Sal's new girlfriend is one of Absolutio's victims, forced to believe she raped herself.

So Sal, a disgraced ex-cop, joins with his con man brother to defraud Absolutio.Something goes wrong.He gets a memory implant - the murder of Absolutio's CFO.Now he's on the run.

Sal fights to clear his name, but he had the perfect motive.The murdered man had screwed his wife and the police routinely use memory scans as evidence.

The fight seems successful.He believes he destroyed the memory download technology and Absolutio.However, he is now an unknowing co-owner of an even more evil technology, remote controlled people.

Is Sal now the evil he meant to destroy?
