Two Forty Something women are thrown into a mid life crisis when their husbands leave them for each other.
SYNOPSIS:
Two 40 something women are living the good life in Manhattan Beach when suddenly their husbands inform them that they are gay and want to be together. While Ashleigh, the stay at home tennis mom, seems to enjoy her new found freedom; despite being cut off financially due to a Pre-Nuptial agreement, Casey is miserable as the sole breadwinner when her husband quits his job to pursue Interior design. They move into the only apartment they can afford on the Strand. Old stucco crumbles from the outer walls. Gang Graffiti decorates the outside with bold lettering. Mice and rats make the perfect roommates. And a community hot tub is like a machine that transforms all its users into sexual deviants. As David and Stephen move forward with a wedding ceremony, Ashleigh and Casey live day to day surrounded by bums that were former valedictorians, friends who are less than supportive of their new lives and after the party of all parties leaves them with a lone bottle of Thunderbird, they toast to their new life that has left them Stranded in Manhattan Beach on the outside looking in...
