SYNOPSIS:

Workaholic Detective Cale Van Waring is at dinner with his longtime girlfriend Maggie, trying to salvage their relationship, when duty inconveniently calls. The captain breaks the news: another young woman is missing, presumed kidnapped. She's the fourth in a string of recent disappearances. Two victims have turned up as corpses, and the third remains missing. Cale is certain a serial killer is in their midst. This killer knocks out his victims with a chemical sedative that leaves no trace, and Cale is at a loss as to how to stop him, even as time ticks away on the lives of his latest victim's. Cale gets a lucky break when Maggie, a city prosecutor, is in court with a rapist who wants to trade information on the killer in exchange for a reduced sentence. With this new lead, Cale finds himself on the trail of a serial killer, who ultimately kidnaps the person whom he holds most dear.
