SYNOPSIS:
Every day, we are faced with choices. Those choices define who we are and what kind of person we are down deep. Officer Paul Miller is an arrogant detective who think’s the badge is his calling. When he arrives at his latest crime scene, he finds a battered woman and her dead boyfriend, killed in an act of apparent self defense. As he furthers his investigation, Miller begins to sympathize with the victim, gradually falling for the abused woman who seemingly reached a breaking point. However, things may not be as simple as they seem, and as her skeletons start to fall out of the closet, Miller must decide which side of the law he truly lies on. Jason is by all means an average guy trying to work his way into the business world. His longtime friend Luke, by contrast has never worked a day in his life and spends his time burning through his family’s money. Although they lead different lives, their friendship is stronger than anything. Their bond makes things all the more difficult when Luke calls Jason, having accidentally killed his girlfriend’s lover in an apparent accident during a fight. In an instant, Jason is forced to make a decision that makes him question his very character. When more information arises and the situation seems less accidental and more deliberate, Jason must decide which is more important: helping his friend, or doing the right thing. Robert leads a double life. On one hand, he is a dedicated father of two, a loving husband, and a stand up family man who provides for his own. What his family does not know, is that for years, he has been a contract killer, murdering anyone for a fee. Caught between being a role model for his young daughter and continuing a profession that has become second nature, Robert must choose who he really wants to be as the lines between good and bad start to blur. All three stories collide in a way that none of them could have imagined and each character is forced to realize that every action has a consequence, and who we are may not be as simple as we think.
