GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Drama
LOGLINE:

After a famous Hollywood actress is accidentally killed during a secret gathering at the Playboy Mansion, the city's most powerful men recruit her nearly identical double to impersonate her—launching a conspiracy that could bring down Hollywood if the truth is exposed.

SYNOPSIS:

Hollywood. 1962.

Behind the glamorous façade of movie premieres, exclusive parties, and flashing cameras lies a secret world where power is bought, scandals disappear, and the truth is whatever the powerful decide it should be.

At the center of that world is the Playboy Mansion.

During one of its private gatherings, attended by influential politicians, studio executives, business tycoons, and Hollywood royalty, tragedy strikes. A beloved Academy Award-winning actress is accidentally killed during an encounter that was never supposed to happen.

Panic erupts.

If the actress's death becomes public, it won't just end careers—it will expose an underground network of corruption, blackmail, political favors, and organized crime that has quietly controlled Hollywood for years.

The solution is as brilliant as it is monstrous.

Find someone who looks exactly like her.

Miles away, struggling actress Evelyn Harper has spent years hearing she could be the famous star's twin. She dreams of making it in Hollywood but instead waits tables and auditions for roles she'll never get.

One night, she is abducted.

When she awakens, she is told the impossible: the actress is dead, and from this moment forward... she is her.

Given months of intensive coaching, plastic touch-ups, voice training, handwriting lessons, and access to every intimate detail of the actress's life, Evelyn is thrust into a world of unimaginable wealth, fame, and danger. Every interview, public appearance, and conversation becomes a performance where a single mistake could expose the conspiracy.

But assuming another person's identity comes at a terrible cost.

The dead actress had secrets of her own.

A suspicious detective refuses to believe the official story surrounding her disappearance before her "miraculous return." An ambitious investigative journalist begins connecting impossible clues. Former lovers notice subtle differences. Lifelong friends sense something isn't right.

Worst of all, Evelyn begins uncovering hidden journals, coded messages, and evidence suggesting the actress knew she was being watched long before her death—and may have been preparing to expose the very people now controlling Evelyn's life.

The deeper she digs, the more she realizes she was never chosen simply because she looked the part.

She was selected because she was disposable.

As paranoia consumes everyone involved, the conspirators begin eliminating anyone who gets too close to the truth. Evelyn finds herself trapped between maintaining the greatest deception Hollywood has ever seen and risking her own life to expose it.

In a pulse-pounding climax beneath the very estate where the conspiracy began, Evelyn uncovers proof of the murder—and the horrifying realization that replacing one actress was only the beginning. For decades, Hollywood's elite have quietly rewritten history whenever the truth threatened their empire.

Now the world's most famous woman must decide whether to continue living a lie that isn't hers... or reveal a truth that could destroy Hollywood forever.
