SYNOPSIS:

MIRANDA MALLOY, 29, single photographer, realizes she only has six months to keep a promise she made to her dying mother and find a daughter by Christmas while Japanese KERRIA knows forever families don’t desire nine-year-old orphans and must accept her fate of never being adopted.

With the loss of her own parents and the mystery of her father’s secret phone calls, Miranda devotes herself to the strict Board of Directors’ guidelines to adopt Kerria; while at the same time, she unexpectedly meets LANDON MYERS and their love for one another ignites and her hopes of having a family is feeling secure.

As Miranda and Kerria bond with one another and dream of becoming mother and daughter, their future begins to look bleak when one stipulation holds Miranda back from being able to adopt Kerria - she doesn’t make the required monetary amount.

Feeling her mother would be disappointed in her for adopting, Miranda still struggles to find another job to meet the adoption requirements and unfortunately, through a misunderstanding, allows her long-yearned romance with Landon to slip away and loses both her future daughter and her boyfriend.
