SYNOPSIS:
KELSEY, 34, vivacious, aspiring American city photographer sets aside her dream to put her busy city life photographs on public display and goes out of her comfort zone to the inherited lakeside Canadian rustic cabin in the wilderness to piece together the life of her late GREAT-UNCLE DONOVAN whom she has never met. Upon arrival, Kelsey is met with unforeseen challenges and ready to sell the cabin and return to the city. However, in order to receive her inheritance, the attorney informs her that her Uncle Donovan's Last Will and Testament states her uncle made arrangements, and requires, for her to have a wilderness guide to help her acclimate to the area. Reluctantly, Kelsey agrees to one day and abruptly hangs up the phone. When Kelsey meets JACK, 37, the wilderness guide, all she sees is arrogance and a single day of torture… until he informs her the will requires not only one but three days of wilderness training. As Jack teaches survival skills, through the bantering and complaining, Kelsey learns intricate details about her Uncle Donovan and grows fond of the wilderness guide. However, after the third day of required training, Jack discovers Kelsey’s plan to sell the cabin, and having great respect for her uncle, Jack leaves.
Three weeks later, to Kelsey’s surprise, Jack appears on her doorstep with a photograph in his hand. He had discovered her artwork displayed in the cafe. Kelsey reveals she's keeping the cabin and opening “Uncle Donovan’s Wilderness Camp,” and she's in need of a wilderness guide.
