SYNOPSIS:

An accidental meeting of three people in a pub on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood sparks a chain of events that none of them would have imagined just a few days before. Lucy, an actress, Willis, a cinematographer, and Martin, a film director, discover they've each had a horrendous day that shatters their illusions of making it in Hollywood. Their dreams of creating films are still intact, but they realize they must take a detour away from Los Angeles to save those dreams. They devise a plan to try their luck making promo videos for the ingenious and quirky characters of tech's tinseltown—Silicon Valley. The filmmakers head to San Francisco to start their company in a garage provided by the actress' grandmother, Margaret, a quirky hippie who owns a Victorian boarding house in the City. Their creativity and unique combination of skills help them penetrate deeper and deeper into the bizarre, absurd world of Silicon Valley.
