SYNOPSIS:

Detective Jackson Tucker lives a peaceful life in Marion County, Florida, with his pregnant wife, Grace, and their children. But that peace is shattered when the mutilated body of a teenager is discovered beneath an abandoned carnival Ferris wheel. Initially staged to appear as a suicide, the crime scene quickly reveals signs of something far more sinister. The teenager had been drugged, psychologically tortured, and brutally mutilated before his death. As Jackson investigates, more horrific murders follow — each victim tortured with intravenous chemical cocktails, driven into horrifying hallucinations, and left with handwritten confessions detailing their “sins.”

The investigation leads Jackson to the Johnson family, owners of a small local café hiding a deeply disturbing past. Their daughter, Sarah Johnson, suffered years of childhood abuse and psychological trauma centered around a battered doll named Katie, whom Sarah believes is alive and speaks to her.
