"THE FATALIST"

LOGLINE: A comedy short that follows the attempts of a man at the end of his life. We join him as he plans his day around finishing things up with a list titled, "the last to do list" this would be sad if so many things didn't go wrong.

SYNOPSIS:

Our Fatalist decides to make his last day in this life a day to take care of unfinished business but mostly business that has to do with him getting to do things he usually doesn't get to do like watching Internet porn. As he plans his day around his list situations arise that make his final goal more difficult than he ever thought possible. And along the way realizes maybe the best part of life is the little things. And when he decides to choose life, a final, shocking event occurs that changes everything. This is a Dramedy that is dark and slightly twisted, with a comedic edge that makes you uncomfortable to laugh but you can't help yourself. When life gets this real, something real odd is bound to happen. And in the end we come to not only identify and sympathize with the Fatalist, you will possibly find a new appreciation for your own life. Or it could justify your feelings of failure and inadequacy.
