A driven DEA agent, out to avenge her partners’ deaths, is stranded in a mystical town that appears to those who need to face their karma, and retribution must occur before a person can leave. Everything you do will come back to you.

SYNOPSIS:

DARCY CAMERON (30's) enters Karman County bound to avenge her partners killed in a drug bust gone wrong. Her case shut down due to a leak in the DEA. She follows clues that lead to more answers than she wanted. The residents of Karman County are out-of-sorts, haunted by their pasts… because they must remain in this strange world until they face their karma.

Sheriff MONTEEN ('40s) presents as the antithesis of Darcy. Her hunches connect him to her partners' killer.

Darcy's attempts to leave fail, and the longer she stays, the more her past intertwines with the residents'.

Monteen becomes suspicious of Darcy's real reason for being in Karman County. Her brief contact with the outside world sheds more mystery on Sheriff Monteen and Karman County itself.

Darcy ignores her conscience. She takes a different "road" out of Karman County by manipulating her destiny… or so she thinks.
