SYNOPSIS:

Brody is out of work and homeless. Worse, he’s forced to live with his ex and her new husband. But it’s not all bad news. They’re on a reality show. Lucky for them, drama has always come easy for Brody and his ex, Jenna. Can their show force them to finally learn to be a family, or will it crush them under the weight of fame? BIO: A recent finalist in 2013 Peach Tree International Film Festival Screenwriting Competition, the idea for BUG’S LIFE came to me after my business failed (along with the rest of the economy) and the threat of losing my home was very real. Ironically, my wife’s ex was facing a similar situation. I pitched to them the idea for a reality show, but for better or worse, they would rather be homeless than live together again. Go figure.
