SYNOPSIS:

Dr. Alicia Reese, a seasoned psychoanalyst, begins treating Lucas Ferro - a patient whose sessions devolve from anxiety into confessions of violence. Bound by confidentiality and professional ethics, Reese is unable to act on what she learns because the crimes occurred in the past.

Reese continues treatment with Ferro, believing she can maintain the clinical frame. But that hope is shattered when a woman connected to her is murdered by Ferro. Ultimately, Reese creates a irreversible lie - reframing Lucas’ act as a future threat, not one that’s just happened in the past.

When Ferro is arrested, she’s forced to confront the consequences of her actions as complicity, guilt, and responsibility close in around her. When Reese uncovers buried secrets from Ferro’s past, a far more disturbing truth emerges - one shaped by profound trauma and the haunting realization that Ferro never had a chance at a normal life.
