T.E.A.C. (TACTICAL EXTRAJUDICIAL ACTION COMMAND)

T.E.A.C. (TACTICAL EXTRAJUDICIAL ACTION COMMAND)
By Ayhan Ergezen

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Action
LOGLINE:

While hunting down those responsible for his wife's death, Detective Akira Kato is captured by T.E.A.C., a covert extrajudicial unit that leaves him with a brutal ultimatum: cooperate with their shadow operations or face perpetual imprisonment.

SYNOPSIS:

For Detective Akira Kato, an ordinary Sunday with his wife Sakura and their young daughter Lina turns into a nightmare when chemical tankers operated by a logistics company explode in the heart of Tokyo. Sakura is killed in the disaster, while Lina disappears amid the chaos and is later found.

Refusing to accept his wife's death as a simple accident, Kato begins investigating the logistics company responsible for the tankers. But Kato has no idea that the company is only a small part of something far larger. As the official investigation stalls and no one appears willing to hold those responsible accountable, Kato abandons the law and decides to take justice into his own hands.

Acting entirely on his own, Kato tracks down the CEO of the logistics company and attempts to assassinate him as an act of personal revenge.

But Kato's plan is intercepted.

He is captured by T.E.A.C., a covert extrajudicial unit operating beyond the reach of conventional law. Rather than turning him over to the authorities, T.E.A.C. gives Kato a brutal ultimatum: face imprisonment for his attempted assassination, or become part of their operations.

With no real way out, Kato chooses T.E.A.C.

Only after entering their world does he begin to understand what he has actually been up against. The logistics company he blamed for his wife's death is merely one component of DAI-KYODAI, a vast and deeply entrenched organization whose influence and structure extend far beyond anything Kato could have imagined.

At T.E.A.C.'s facility, Kato is introduced to its command structure and its highly specialized operational teams. These people are not ordinary criminals or vigilantes. They are disciplined professionals operating according to their own code, pursuing targets that conventional justice cannot reach.

Kato also begins to understand the philosophy at the heart of DAI-KYODAI — the “Nest.” To its members, the organization is more than a corporation. It is a structure built to protect and preserve its collective existence, regardless of the cost to the individuals within it.

Kato entered this world seeking justice for the family he had lost. Now, forced into the ranks of T.E.A.C., he finds himself on the other side of the law and facing an enemy far greater than the company he originally blamed.

His pursuit of personal revenge has become the first step into a hidden war between three very different ideas of justice — his own, T.E.A.C.'s, and the ruthless philosophy of DAI-KYODAI's “Nest.”
