In the summer of 1995, Cameron Davin reluctantly takes a landscaping job in Newport, Rhode Island after being suspended from college — working for a polished, image-conscious company owner named Russell while watching a scrappier rival named Greg quietly chip away at everything Russell has built. What Cam doesn't know is that the job wasn't chosen randomly, and the history between these two men runs closer to home than he realizes. Caught between two rivals with a buried past neither will name, Cam navigates a summer of old friendships, an unresolved relationship with his ex, and the slow uncomfortable work of figuring out who he actually is.
