ARCADIA HILL
By Macorey Trotter

GENRE: Drama, Comedy
LOGLINE:
In a Southern city where reality feels just slightly off, a group of young Black creatives navigate friendship, ambition, and identity while confronting moments they can’t quite explain.

SYNOPSIS:

Arcadia Hill is a 30-minute surreal dramedy set in a culturally rich Southern city where the ordinary and the unexplainable quietly coexist. The series follows a tight-knit group of young Black creatives—each searching for purpose, stability, and meaning—as they navigate early adulthood in a world that rarely gives clear direction. From chasing artistic dreams to surviving dead-end jobs and complicated relationships, their lives feel grounded and familiar… until something doesn’t.

Through subtle, often unsettling moments—conversations that loop, coincidences that feel intentional, and experiences that no one else seems to notice—the group begins to question not just their circumstances, but the nature of the reality around them. Yet in true fashion, life doesn’t stop for clarity. Bills still need to be paid, friendships are tested, and personal ambitions continue to clash with uncertainty.

Balancing humor, introspection, and surreal tension, Arcadia Hill explores what it means to come of age in a world that feels slightly out of place—where the line between coincidence and meaning is always just a little blurred.
