THE CLEARANCE
By Fabio Manfredini

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Drama
LOGLINE:

To prevent a self-optimizing global corporation from erasing humanity out of existence, a clinical corporate strategist and a 130kg former operative are locked into a brutal multi-season chess match by an aging Director—forcing them to realize that they must work together to execute a controlled succession of the world’s most dangerous throne.

SYNOPSIS:

Operating out of a hyper-sterile subterranean server farm in Zug, Switzerland, "Clearance" is the world’s ultimate shadow bureaucracy. It's a tool used by the elites to govern the globe not with laws, but with lethal corporate audits—liquidating rogue billionaires and political regimes to maintain absolute stasis. They do not punish evil; they punish friction.

Thomas Miller, a brilliant but sidelined Hub manager specializing in kinetic operations, executes a ruthless boardroom maneuver by secretly weaponizing a buried legacy asset: a 130kg feral assassin known as Brontoslav, living completely off-grid in the Brazilian Pantanal. Miller’s plan is to bait his arrogant corporate rival into a lethal jungle trap.

The trap succeeds, but the math is flawed. When Brontoslav survives the slaughter, he realizes he was used as a pawn and refuses to power down. Now, the savage, acoustic horror of the Brazilian "Mud" is coming to shatter the pristine "Glass" of Switzerland.

Watching this brutal war of attrition from the shadows is Elias Sterling, the Hub's aging Director of Kinetics. Sterling isn't trying to stop the bloodshed; he is using the feral monster as a hammer to forge Miller into a successor cold enough, and hard enough, to inherit the world's most dangerous throne.
