Antisocial Media is a forensic look at the collapse of the modern nuclear family in an age of total connectivity and zero communication. It is a story about Perception vs. Reality, specifically, how a "tech-sceptic" IT manager, trained to find patterns in data, uses his expertise to destroy his own life by "putting two and two together and coming up with 26." Visually, the series captures a "rain-soaked English commuter town" aesthetic; grey, slick, and claustrophobic. The "no-frills" drama is punctured by the cold, blue glow of smartphone screens that act as modern-day "black boxes," recording the slow-motion car crash of a family living under one roof but in entirely different worlds.
