SYNOPSIS:

The Harvest is a psychological thriller that follows Roberto, a homeless man living on the streets with his wife, Ester. Together, they struggle with mental instability, which Roberto tries to manage through medication. When Ester suddenly disappears, Roberto is left isolated and vulnerable, leading him to accept an invitation to join The Harvest, a secluded community that promises order, purpose, and belonging in exchange for one’s identity and personal possessions. At first, the community’s rigid structure appears to offer the stability Roberto has always longed for. But his growing connection with a young woman known as the Devotee awakens emotions and memories he believed were long buried, causing him to question both himself and the true nature of the place he now calls home. As Roberto digs deeper, he discovers that The Harvest is less a sanctuary than a carefully constructed prison. What initially seemed like a haven of acceptance gradually reveals itself as a system built on manipulation, coercion, and psychological control. A mind-altering substance derived from ergot, which initially numbs his emotional pain, becomes yet another instrument of domination.
