SYNOPSIS:

In 1985, Eleanor Baptiste closes the Raven's Point Library with a battered ledger in her arms: a book filled with names, secrets, and the private lives of people who would rather stay hidden. Four teenage boys corner her in the stacks. A struggle over the ledger turns fatal, and the sheriff who walks in does not bring justice. He protects the boys, buries Eleanor, and makes the library part of the town's official silence.

Years later, Maya Harper is growing up under the weight of that silence. Her father Marcus tries to shield her from the Harper name, but Maya's camera keeps catching details adults ignore: fear around the old library, coded warnings, and the ledger's shadow moving through families with power.
