SYNOPSIS:

Darius Bell is a gifted Newark nightlife photographer and party promoter whose entire life depends on image control. After a disorienting encounter and an HIV diagnosis, he refuses the medical facts, refuses accountability, and looks for someone to blame. His shame focuses on transgender women and gender-nonconforming people whose boundaries wound his ego. He starts turning dates, profiles, photos, and staged images into a private revenge logic.

Detective Mara Velez sees a pattern the department does not want to name. Camille, Sable, Vivian, Eden, Jules, and the people around Darius are not props in his collapse; they are lives he tries to reduce to evidence.
