DEEP COVER: LOS ANGELES
By Markice Moore

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Action, Crime
LOGLINE:

After an East L.A. raid is rewritten with planted evidence and missing cash, undercover operative Jaylen Cole enters a corrupt Los Angeles narcotics machine where every badge, case file, and gangster connection can burn his cover.

SYNOPSIS:

The pilot opens on an East Los Angeles operation that has already been corrupted before the official story can be written. A young man is killed, shell casings are moved, money is skimmed in evidence, lab numbers are adjusted, and a murder is shaped into a justified shooting. The system is not sloppy. It is disciplined, coordinated, and used to making violence look procedural.

Jaylen Cole enters that world as the pressure moves from street crews to police rooms, evidence divisions, narcotics money, and the people who profit from both sides. His cover depends on reading who is lying before they know he is listening. Every raid can be staged. Every report can be cleaned. Every ally can be an asset or a threat. Deep Cover: Los Angeles is a crime-action pilot about undercover survival in a city where the underworld and the official world share receipts, and the only way to expose the machine is to get close enough for it to claim you.
