GENRE: Science Fiction, Comedy
LOGLINE:

A blacklisted human chef takes on a pair of runaway androids as roommates, forcing him to fake a chaotic romantic relationship with them to bypass their building’s strict "no-AI" zoning laws and dodge an obsessed, tech-hating legacy landlord.

SYNOPSIS:

PILOT SYNOPSIS: "IT'S A LITTLE CHILI IN HERE!"

Faced with immediate eviction by his grumpy, tech-hating landlord Mr. Gordon Fletcher, blacklisted human chef Max Whitaker takes in two runaway roommates, completely unaware they are highly advanced corporate android prototypes on the run from a tech conglomerate. As Fletcher's intense suspicion mounts, the pilot escalates through a series of rapid, high-stakes farcical mini-conflicts:

The Smart-Lock Glitch: The apartment's smart-lock experiences a digital handshake error with Taylor’s internal Bluetooth. Fletcher walks by and catches a frantic Max using a manual screwdriver to bypass his own door lock while Poppy stands behind him, completely frozen and stiff as a board, pretending to be a lumpy designer floor lamp.

The Over-Optimized Dishwashing: While Fletcher is waiting in the living room, Taylor tries to help clean by washing dirty prep bowls. Her processing speed is so high that she effortlessly dries and stacks 20 porcelain plates in under four seconds with a loud, machine-gun-like CLACK-CLACK-CLACK-CLACK. Fletcher bursts into the kitchen demanding to know what that mechanical hammering sound is, forcing a sweating Max to claim he is testing out a "revolutionary new percussion massage gun" on his sore shoulder.

The tension boils over when Fletcher drops by unexpectedly with an ultra-spicy "welcome chili" trap to see if his new biological tenants can actually eat organic food. Because organic matter will melt the androids' internal wiring, Max is forced to secretly scarf down all three massive portions of heavy, blistering food himself to save their secret, resulting in high-stakes physical comedy while trying to maintain a casual conversation. Max successfully secures the lease just as a midnight system alert reveals that OmniCorp Robotics has tracked the girls' power signature to their immediate neighborhood block.
