SAVE THE SEED

SAVE THE SEED
By Naveen Miriyala

GENRE: Science Fiction
LOGLINE:

In a perfectly controlled world, the last real human is found and the people in power must decide: protect their system or risk everything for true humanity.

SYNOPSIS:

After a catastrophic global war devastates Earth, humanity is believed to be extinct. SANA, a young woman awakened from cryogenic preservation, survives in an underground shelter with EVE, a humanoid robot designed to protect and guide her. Outside, the planet is toxic, oxygen is scarce, and life has nearly vanished.

While exploring the wasteland, Sana and Eve encounter a hidden underground tribe composed entirely of women. The tribe is ruled by Queen ISHAEL, a powerful leader shaped by unimaginable trauma. Fifteen years earlier, years of cruelty, control, and gender-based oppression erupted into a violent uprising where women imprisoned all men to reclaim freedom and dignity.

Since that rebellion, no children have been born. The tribe faces slow extinction, but Ishael refuses to allow men back into the world, believing male existence inevitably leads to war, brutality, and domination. Her pain has hardened into ideology.

As Sana learns the tribe’s history through AERI, a young girl born the night of the uprising, she begins to understand the depth of Ishael’s suffering yet cannot accept genocide as justice. Sana believes survival must include compassion, balance, and responsibility to future generations.

Eve, designed as a rational protector, begins to experience emotional conflict for the first time. After scanning Ishael’s psychological pain, Eve temporarily aligns with the Queen’s belief that humanity can exist without men. This ideological fracture strains Eve’s bond with Sana.

When Ishael orders the execution of the remaining imprisoned men and later Sana herself violence erupts within the tribe. Women fight women. Belief clashes with conscience. Eve ultimately chooses to protect Sana, realizing that creation cannot be built on hatred.

The conflict ends in tragedy: the Queen and most of the men die. Only one male survives. The tribe is shattered. Eve, damaged and emotionally awakened, stands between extinction and responsibility.

SAVE THE SEED is a haunting exploration of trauma, power, gender, and survival asking whether humanity can evolve beyond its violent past or is doomed to repeat it under new rulers.
