By Ioannis Gogonas

GENRE: Action
LOGLINE:

A former US Marine who turned CIA operative after his brother's death in Syria, wants to uncover a global covert system that manipulates wars and terrorism as controlled variables-forcing him to go rogue and to risk everything to expose the truth, even as the woman he loves is taken by the very forces he is trying to destroy.

SYNOPSIS:

SHADOW PROTOCOL - SYNOPSIS

ACT I - DAMASCUS

After a disastrous military mission in Damascus, U.S. Marine Michael Robinson’s life is torn apart. His younger brother, Leo, is captured and executed by the ruthless extremist Zaouad Samakh. On paper, the mission is just another failure - but Michael can’t shake the feeling that it was more than that. This wasn’t just a mistake - it felt planned.

ACT II - MICHAEL DETERMINED TO FIND THE TRUTH

Grief-stricken and suspicious, Michael leaves the Marines and joins the CIA, determined to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death. He throws himself into the work, rising through the ranks to become an elite operative. There, he’s paired with Eirini Papadopoulos, a sharp, principled intelligence analyst whose clear sense of right and wrong forces Michael to confront his own beliefs. As they work side by side, a deep trust and partnership grows between them - one built on shared purpose and resilience.

MIDPOINT - KARIM EL-ZAIRI AND THE SHADOW PROTOCOL

When Eirini starts to connect the dots, she notices something unsettling: terrorist attacks around the globe aren’t random - they’re carefully balanced, as if someone is making sure no one side gets too strong. What looked like chaos now seems more like a cold, calculated plan. Their search for answers leads them to Karim El-Zairi, a former extremist financier. Karim reveals the truth: terrorist groups are puppets in a much bigger game. There’s a hidden system - Shadow Protocol - pulling the strings behind the scenes, shaping conflicts, funding both sides, and keeping global “stability” through manufactured chaos.

ACT III - THE BETRAYAL

Digging deeper, Michael and Eirini find evidence linking the Shadow Protocol to their own agency. The mission in Damascus - the one that cost Leo his life - wasn’t an accident. It was authorized. Michael’s heartbreak was just a piece of a much larger, deliberate strategy. When they infiltrate a secret facility connected to Shadow Protocol, they’re betrayed by their own handler. The truth comes out: the system’s logic is chilling. Without managed conflict, the world would spiral into all-out war. Refusing to accept this, Michael and Eirini go rogue, escaping with data that could blow the whole conspiracy wide open.

CLIMAX - EIRINI IS KIDNAPPED

But the consequences are immediate. Eirini is kidnapped by Zaouad Samakh, now acting not just as a terrorist but as an agent of the system Michael is determined to destroy. Forced into a final showdown, Michael - helped by Karim, who sacrifices himself - launches a daring rescue at a Shadow Protocol stronghold.

ENDING

The battle is brutal. Michael kills Zaouad and saves Eirini, while the system’s infrastructure takes a devastating hit. Before it all comes crashing down, they manage to leak enough data to the world to partially expose Shadow Protocol, sending shockwaves through governments and intelligence agencies everywhere.

FINAL IMAGE

But it’s not over. The system is bigger and more deeply rooted than they imagined. Parts of it still survive, hidden in the shadows.

In the end, fugitives and forever changed, Michael and Eirini find themselves in Greece, standing together at the edge of the Corinth Canal. They realize they haven’t saved the world - they’ve revealed it for what it truly is. And nothing will ever be the same again.
