In a war-torn world, Captain Aspar and his unit are captured by the ruthless Major Zarek. Refusing to betray his country despite the enemy's threats, Aspar closes his eyes to face imminent execution—only to miraculously awaken in the body of the legendary Erimel bird. According to myth, this mysterious creature grants those who face death with honor one final day to resolve their unfinished business.
