While WWIII rages in Middle East with 62% of American military defending Israel, southern cartels invade USA through Mexico, and Americans are losing ground. Can a fledgling division of older military veterans make a difference?

SYNOPSIS:

In the near future, six months after WWIII broke out in the Middle East and 62% of all American forces are in the Mediterranean defending Israel, coordinated cartel forces from Mexico, Central, and South America breach US borders through Mexico, and America is losing territory. Neither our surplus robotics nor remaining forces are stopping the invaders' advance.

As staggering American casualties mount in the Middle East theater and Latin opportunistic enemies advance on US soil, U.S. President deploys a newly created division Silver Patriots, reporting to the National Guard. This controversial initiative enlists capable older citizens (over 35) into both non-combat and combat roles. Non-combat senior citizen inductees free up the 85% of current soldiers with non-combat ratings to redeploy into combat roles, backfilling frontline casualties. Senior citizens with prior military and police experience are inducted with combat ratings in this new Silver Patriots division. Silver Patriots are ordered to stem the tide of incursions across the southern border until traditional units can be freed-up from the Middle East.

Unfortunately, not everyone in our military wants Silver Patriots to succeed. An old guard in the Pentagon, holding a prejudice against supposed 2A vigilante militants, sabotages Silver Patriots with an apparent war crimes disaster. Only by clever investigation is the sabotaging general and his accomplice revealed, tried and convicted of war crimes.

Silver Patriots are then exonerated and reengage to push the invaders out of America as WWIII concludes.
