SYNOPSIS:
Born in Kuwait, a woman grows up in a society shaped by rigid traditions, religious control, and a patriarchal system where her identity and freedom are constantly restricted. From childhood she questions the rules imposed on women and refuses to accept a life defined by obedience and silence. Believing that the United Kingdom represents freedom, justice, and equal rights, she leaves everything behind and begins a new life there. For the first time she feels she might finally have the chance to live with dignity and raise her children in safety. But the dream of freedom soon turns into a new struggle. Instead of the protection she expected, she finds herself facing a complicated legal system that threatens to take away the most important thing in her life her children. Caught between two worlds, two cultures, and two systems of power, she is forced to fight battles she never imagined. Her journey becomes a powerful story of motherhood, resilience, and the search for identity in a world where both tradition and modern institutions can fail women. “The Woman Without a Country” is a gripping true-story drama about courage, survival, and a woman who refuses to surrender her voice, her children, or her future.
