GRAND PRIX: CRUCIBLE
By Joshua Clover

GENRE: Action
LOGLINE:

A secretive billionaire organizes a cross-country Grand Prix unlike any other, where racers from across the nation compete for $50 million—but the stakes are deadly, and survival is not guaranteed. As rivalries, fake law enforcement, and lethal traps threaten every mile, the racers must navigate a crucible of speed, deception, and human ambition to see the finish line alive.

SYNOPSIS:

In a world where wealth and power play cruel games, a shadowy billionaire orchestrates the ultimate test of skill and survival: a cross-country Grand Prix from Los Angeles → New York → Miami → Seattle → back to LA. Twenty-five elite racers are recruited under strict secrecy, their personal lives leveraged as collateral, their every move tracked.

The race begins as a high-octane spectacle of speed, strategy, and ambition. But it quickly descends into chaos. Fake police ambush racers, mercenaries sabotage cars, and deadly accidents claim both racers and innocent bystanders. The media broadcasts the carnage, fueling national obsession while the billionaire watches from his high-tech control room, treating human lives as pieces in a twisted video game.

Amidst the chaos, rivalries flare, alliances crumble, and racers face impossible moral choices: cheat to survive, risk others’ lives, or lose everything. Ex-military driver Alex must navigate this crucible of danger while protecting the ones he loves, outsmarting both man and machine, and surviving the relentless gauntlet of death that the billionaire has created.

As the survivors reach the final stretch in Los Angeles, only a handful remain. The winner crosses the finish line, but the billionaire’s true intent is revealed—this was only a prelude. The real race, deadlier and more merciless, is yet to come.
