THE STORY:

In the heat-soaked, dystopian canyons of Cavetown, the sky is a permanent

shade of yellow-gray. GANDOLF, a teenager born in the peaceful West

Valley High, has the rare gift of flight and discovers he possesses

dormant elemental powers:to summon ball lightning, steer the weather, and manipulate magnetic

fields. His only escape from the harsh reality is his Magna-board, a

gravity-defying surfboard that allows him to dance through the clouds.The peace is shattered when the Dark Religion, led by the sinister HIGH

PRIEST NAR, infiltrates the valley. Nar’s goal is total spiritual and physical

enslavement, enforced by a legion of fanatical followers known as the

Blackbowlers—small men, with white faces and black painted eyes, who

wear black bowler hats with a mysterious magnetic stone hidden beneath

the brim.Joined by the cynical warrior ROBIN and his loyal friend RANDOLF, Gandolf

embraces his destiny as the 'Skysurfer of the West'.

The rebellion leads them deep into the earth. In a heart-pounding

climax, Gandolf executes a high-speed dive on his Magna-board into a

jagged cavern, navigating a dark tunnel to reach the heart of the Dark

Temple. There, the trio successfully blows up Nar in his own sanctuary.However, the nightmare isn't over. As they return to West Valley High, a

grotesque, circus-like spectacle awaits. Huge, twisted balloons descend

from mosquito-like airships, carrying hundreds of Blackbowlers to launch a final, desperate assault on Gandolf’s home.In a breathtaking display of power, Gandolf takes to the sky. He summons

massive ball lightnings that obliterate the airships in mid-air. For the

ground troops, he orchestrates a brilliant tactical strike: using a

cloud of 30cm silver ball-tip needles

provided by Robin, Gandolf uses his mastery of magnetism to turn the

atmosphere into a weapon. He launches the needles downwards towards the

valley, because of the magnetic stones in their hats,

the needles are pulled downward at lethal speeds, piercing the

Blackbowlers in a synchronized storm of silver.With the airships burning like bombed-out pirate ships and the cult defeated, Gandolf stands as the

protector of life and freedom, proving that the spirit of the West Valley cannot be broken.
