Years later, thirteen-year-old Sage sails across that drowned world searching for her younger brother, Tiger, who disappeared during the catastrophe. Refusing to surrender hope, Sage spends her days exploring the remnants of civilization aboard a boat she built herself, convinced her family is still out there somewhere.

Everything changes when she discovers an unconscious warrior floating at sea.
