After dissing the mistletoe magic in a small-town business’ lipstick on her
holiday-themed podcast, popular beauty podcaster, Holly Green, is court
ordered to spend the week before Christmas learning about the lipstick
with the Attorney for Mistletoe Wishes, the company that makes the
colorful make-up. During the week she has a little help from Santa and
QVC’s own beauty queen, Kim Gravel, as she discovers there really is magic
in the lipstick - or is the magic in the kiss from the company’s lawyer?

SYNOPSIS:

Holly Green’s beauty podcast is skyrocketing her to fame quicker than she can read all the contracts coming her way. She is poised to move from producing her podcasts in her apartment to having her own regular beauty segment on the Martin Jones talk show when she finds herself at the center of a lawsuit over comments she made about the family-owned lipstick brand Mistletoe Wishes. The lawsuit threatens her ability to finalize the contract for her television segment with Martin Jones. With some inspired intervention from QVC’s own beauty queen, Kim Gravel, Martin gives Holly until Christmas Eve to have the lawsuit dismissed so she can participate in his live Christmas Charity Gala event and do the make-up for some famous guest stars.

Determined to have the lawsuit issue under wraps before the gala, Holly travels to the small town of Chatterton, Michigan to have the case dismissed. A snowstorm prevents her attorney from making it to court and Holly finds herself on her own in the courtroom and having to deal with charismatic family law attorney James Montgomery, the representative of Mistletoe Wishes, which is owned by his adoptive mother, Lillian Montgomery. At the advice from her attorney, Holly asks to have the hearing adjourned, but quickly finds herself by order of the Judge spending a week in Chatterton to learn about the lipstick she criticized before the Judge will consider dismissing the case. By the end of the week, both Holly and James discover the true meaning behind the lipstick’s tagline “Mistletoe Wishes & Candy Cane Kisses make dreams come true” and find themselves reflecting on how several Christmas Wishes will be impacted if they remain adversaries or honor their feelings and the mistletoe lipstick magic.
