SYNOPSIS:
Faith was never meant to be controlled." JUDAS AND MARIA is a high-concept spiritual thriller blending mystery, faith, and conspiracy. Maria, a troubled woman haunted by her past, discovers an ancient Bible unlike any other—one that reveals visions and leads her toward a hidden city where sinners can confront their truth and seek redemption. But the city is the most dangerous secret in human history. For centuries, a powerful organization known as the Custodians of the Doctrine has hunted anyone who discovers it, believing that if redemption exists beyond the control of religious institutions, their power would collapse. As Maria follows the book’s path across New York and beyond, she crosses paths with Judas—a man shaped by betrayal, prison, and regret. Drawn into the Custodians’ world, Judas becomes both her greatest threat… and her greatest test of faith. When Maria finally reaches the hidden city, she uncovers a truth older than religion itself—a place where the soul cannot lie, and redemption cannot be controlled. But as the Custodians close in, Maria must decide whether forgiveness is truly possible… even for the man destined to betray her. In a final confrontation between faith and power, the battle for the hidden city begins—and the fight for humanity’s redemption may destroy them both.

Michelle Rojas This is a bold and intriguing concept blending faith, mystery, and conspiracy gives it a strong thematic hook.
The idea of a hidden city where redemption exists outside organized religion is especially compelling, and it raises big philosophical questions that could really resonate if handled with depth.
The dynamic between Maria and Judas also stands out it feels like the emotional core of the story.
One suggestion: the logline is powerful but slightly dense. Tightening it around Maria’s central conflict and the stakes could make it hit even harder.
Overall, this feels like a thought-provoking, high-concept drama with strong potential.
Will definitely tighten this up!!!! Thanks so much
