By Leni Hasrani

GENRE: Science Fiction
LOGLINE:

SYNOPSIS:

SAMSARAVERSE: THE ORDINARY MAN OF AETERNA is a contained philosophical science-fiction feature set after the collapse of Aeterna, a system that controlled human behavior by turning emotion, memory, and prayer into data.

Nolan Schulman was never an executive or architect. He was an ordinary data validator who worked, went home, and repeated the routine. But when Aeterna falls, Nolan discovers that one report bearing his signature contributed to the deaths of 4,122 people.

His consciousness is pulled into the Echo World, a timeless white realm where those deaths return as faces, rooms, and memories he can no longer reduce to statistics. While Leon Voss struggles to keep his fading identity anchored from the outside, Nolan is offered peace by the Masked Minister, at the cost of surrendering his name, memory, and responsibility.

To survive, Nolan must confront the truth behind the phrase “I was just doing my job” and accept how ordinary people become the infrastructure that allows monstrous systems to endure.

Adapted from the published novel SAMSARAVERSE: Volume Two.
