SYNOPSIS:

Set in 1942 in the fictional town of Old Tree Loaf, Mississippi, AWRY follows Dorothy, a devoted African-American mother who unwittingly enters a pact with the enigmatic Mr. Snow after purchasing suspiciously cheap sweet potatoes. The mysterious vendor’s gift—a snow globe capable of granting wishes, leads to the disappearance of Dorothy’s daughter, Amanda, and traps the family in a dark cycle of supernatural events. Dorothy and her husband, Amos, must fight to rescue Amanda from a nightmarish dimension filled with eerie beings, learning that every wish comes with a sinister cost.
