When a buried Contingency reveals that Unicron and Cybertron are two halves of a divided origin, Optimus Prime and Megatron must choose between their eternal war and activating the failsafe before Earth and Cybertron merge, erasing all life and rebirthing it as one.

SYNOPSIS:

Following the movie, Transformers: The Last Knight. Earth falls into uneasy silence. Cybertronian activity has quietened, and global defence programs have been quietly dismantled over the years. Optimus Prime withdraws from Earth, haunted by truths he still does not yet understand.

When a mysterious artifact, known as the Cog of Primus, lands on Earth. Long-buried systems are revealed across the globe, exposing a hidden failsafe created by Cybertron’s true creator. Designed to prevent the merging of two worlds that were never meant to meet, Cybertron and Earth itself. Its activation signals a catastrophic truth.

Unbeknownst to humanity, Unicron is half of a divided origin, forever drawn to Cybertron. If the two worlds merge, all existing life will be erased and reborn as one.

As Autobots return and Decepticon forces resurface, the conflict that emerges is no longer one of war, but of balance. Quintessa, having survived in secret, continues with her plan to force the merge and reshape existence itself. In contrast, unseen forces across multiple other corrupted Cybertrons work under her spell to ensure their success.

The Witwiccan bloodline, entrusted by Primus, holds the keys to activating the Contingency to prevent this merge through ancient relics, lost knowledge, and a chosen successor who was never meant to be forgotten: Sam Witwicky.

As the truth unfolds, Optimus Prime and Megatron must confront their origins. Recognising their opposing forces are meant to work in harmony, anchored by a greater power they never knew existed.
