KINGS AND KINGDOMS
By Fredrick Chilufya

GENRE: Fantasy, Drama
LOGLINE:

When a dying king splits his magical kingdom in two to prevent a civil war between his identical twin sons, the rival brothers become opposing kings—locked in a strategic, chess-like war for power, identity, and a gold-rich land that could determine which kingdom survives.

SYNOPSIS:

In the prosperous kingdom of Elarion, the wise King Elandor rules from a magical throne that grants immense supernatural power. As his health fails, he must choose a single heir from his identical twin sons: Alaric, a compassionate believer in diplomacy, and William, an ambitious seeker of dominance. When William refuses to accept his younger brother’s ascension, unrest threatens to tear the kingdom apart.

To prevent total collapse, King Elandor invokes an ancient spell that splits Elarion into two identical realms—the White Kingdom ruled by Alaric, and the Black Kingdom governed by William. The magical throne remains in the White Kingdom, while William, consumed by resentment, reshapes his realm in opposition, preparing for inevitable conflict.

What begins as a divided inheritance escalates into a calculated war between mirrored kingdoms, each move echoing a deadly game of chess. When a newly discovered gold-rich land between the two realms becomes the ultimate prize, the brothers are driven toward all-out war—where the fate of both kingdoms will be decided by strategy, sacrifice, and the kings themselves.
