SYNOPSIS:

The Intersection is a documentary-driven competition series following the rebirth of a once-illegal racing idea: a figure-8 urban circuit where drivers must negotiate priority intersections, yield zones, and constrained geometry instead of relying on raw horsepower.

The concept was first tested informally in the 1990s on empty Belarus streets — unsanctioned, improvised, and primitive. Those early sessions proved the basic principle: when two cars approach an urban intersection at speed, the challenge becomes less about acceleration and more about anticipation, judgement, and respect for the yield rule.

We follow handpicked team of engineers, sim-racers, and coders as they attempt the impossible: translate the chaotic, intuitive dance of illegal street racing into a repeatable, safe, and sustainable sport for the modern era. Every intersection is a high-stakes decision. Every yield is a test of ego versus algorithm. The drama is intrinsic: Can an EV's regenerative braking handle the stop-and-go rhythm? Will an AI system understand the subtle aggression of a human yield?

Nothing is exaggerated because there is no need to: passing intersection in a fast and safe way is a drama by itself.
