A disillusioned ex-G.I. stranded in a corrupt Mexican border town teams up with a young sheriff and a washed-up TV bounty hunter to rescue a kidnapped U.S. Border Patrol agent—while being hunted by a lethal twelve-year-old cartel assassin.

SYNOPSIS:

Border Patrol Agent Adam Dempsey is ambushed, tased, and kidnapped by cartel soldiers—a long-sought trophy. His disappearance triggers a national crisis.

Across the border, Gringo intervenes when punks harass a homeless veteran. The confrontation forces him south into Cocina del Dios.

At El Marinero/The Sailor, Gringo finds cartel thugs beating Lobo. A chaotic, comedic fight erupts. Gringo and Lobo escape, but the town now knows two Americanos are loose—instantly suspicious.

Moments later, Manny enters El Marinero and calmly executes the thugs. He is ordered to hunt “the gringos.”

Sheriff Veronica Malave arrives at the massacre. Young, capable, and alone, she recognizes immediately that trouble has entered her town. When she confronts Gringo, she sees he’s dangerous but useful. Their partnership grows from tension into respect.

Gringo and Lobo flee into the desert and discover a cartel catapult used to launch drug bundles over the border. Gringo convinces Lobo to “test” it. The launch fires Lobo into the border wall like a live-action Wile E. Coyote gag—establishing the film’s grounded, dark-comedic tone.

They infiltrate a cartel warehouse, find a smuggling tunnel, and attempt escape—only to be swept back by a migrant caravan flooding through it. Meanwhile, Dempsey escapes his basement cell and struggles to survive as Manny closes in.

Gringo, Veronica, and Lobo’s paths converge, forcing them into an uneasy alliance. Manny stalks them relentlessly—each encounter sharper, deadlier, more unpredictable. Gringo begins accepting the responsibility he’s been avoiding.

In the climax, the trio storm a cartel compound holding Dempsey. A violent, chaotic, darkly humorous battle follows. Lobo earns his lone moment of genuine bravery. Veronica holds the line. Gringo finally steps into the role he’s resisted.

They escape with Dempsey and stagger to the riverbank, where U.S. Border Patrol intercepts them. Veronica waves a makeshift white flag. Manny disappears back into legend.
