During a tropical storm, a broke med student takes a summer job at a Florida body
farm—where scattered human remains contaminated with experimental nanotech
begin reassembling into a creature that absorbs the strengths and flaws of the people
it kills. Trapped by flooding and cut off from help, she must outthink something that
evolves with every victim.
SYNOPSIS:
The film unfolds over one night at a realistic Florida body farm: humid, muddy,
storm‑soaked, and isolated. It’s a forensic research site where bodies decompose in
open air, shallow pits, water tanks, and car trunks. The staff aren’t chasing
prestige—they’re people with nowhere else to go. When the storm intensifies, the
roads wash out, the power fails, and the team becomes trapped inside a facility built
for studying death, not surviving it.
